TM1 Rules & Feeders are concepts related to the IBM Cognos TM1 solution. TM1 feeders feed every cell that is calculated by a rule. Feeders are not used to feed rules that apply to consolidated cells. Feeders are not required to make rules work, however they can improve performance in sparse cubes. Rules and feeders are written in the Rules Editor. The feeder statements are starting with declaring ‘FEEDERS' before starting the rule.

TM1 Turbo Integrator is part of the IBM Cognos TM1 solution. TM1 Turbo Integrator is used to create dimensions and cubes based on ODBC data sources or flat files. Within Turbo Integrator the developer can make use of advanced scripting features and can create and schedule chores. Turbo Integrator can be considered to be the Extract, Transform and Load utility for use with TM1. TM1 Turbo Integrator is part of TM1 Architect in which a complete TM1 model is build. 

IBM Cognos TM1 is a solution with a client-server architecture and TM1 Architect is one of the standard TM1 client components that can connect to the TM1 server. The key components of TM1 are TM1 Architect, TM1 Perspectives, TM1 Web and Turbo Integrator.A complete TM1 model is build in TM1 Architect using Turbo Integrator processes. It lets you create, analyze and manage business data using the Cube Viewer. Administrative capabilities are only available through TM1 Architect Server Explorer.
