Data Analyst Learning Path

At element61, we’ve designed a learning path to develop the core skills every Data Analyst needs. You are required to complete the first three trainings—Dimensional Data Modeling, Introduction to Microsoft Power BI, and Advanced Microsoft Power BI – Report Builders—as they provide the essential foundation and advanced reporting skills needed for this path. Two additional trainings, Advanced Microsoft Power BI – Developers and Data Visualization Best Practices, are recommended to enhance your expertise further, but are optional. This structure ensures you build your core skills first while allowing you to expand your knowledge with the recommended sessions.

Practical

This learning path starts twice a year (typically in January and May) and runs over 3 months, with:

  • Dimensional Data Modeling (2 days):
    • Aimed at learning the core of best-practice BI: i.e., data modeling 
  • Introduction to Microsoft Power BI (1 day):
    • Gain the fundamental knowledge of Power BI: i.e., creating reports and sharing them online
  • Advanced Microsoft Power BI - Report Builders (2 days):
    • Create visually compelling visuals and learn about the advanced and hidden features of report creation
    • Covers DAX, bookmarks, drill-throughs, and all other features you need to create end-user-friendly reports
  • Advanced Microsoft Power BI - Developers (2 days):
    • Closing the gap between the Data Lakehouse and Power BI
    • Focused on the back-end of Power BI and advanced features: workspace management, security, licensing, refresh options, data modeling, and many more 
  • Data Visualization Best Practices (1 day):
    • Learn the principles of visual perception
    • Make the right data visualization decisions and avoid hard-to-read graphs or incorrect conclusions

Cost

  • €5.400 per participant for 8 full days of training
