Pieter-Jan Cnudde

In 2020 Pieter-Jan obtained a Master in Business Economics at the Catholic University of Leuven, focussed on international business, strategy and innovation. Driven by his curiosity and desire to enhance his technical skills, he also pursued a Master in Statistics and Data Science, which he obtained in 2023.

During this Master, he honed his skills in statistical modelling, machine learning and AI and got to know the basics of different programming languages such as R, SAS, Matlab, SQL, Neo4J and Python. In the second year of his Master in Statistics and Data Science, he took on the role of a statistics tutor, helping fellow students overcome challenges in statistics courses and providing them with a good study method.

Furthermore, Pieter-Jan had the opportunity to gain practical experience through a data science internship, where he worked on real-life projects involving supply chain optimization and demand forecasting. This hands-on experience allowed him to further develop his data science skills.

In addition to his academic pursuits, he also is an avid enthusiast of the seaside and water activities, especially surfing. During the weekends if the weather conditions are favourable, he tries to get out with his friends and enjoy it to the fullest.
