Jérôme Salavert

In 2012, Jérôme graduated from Solvay Brussels School with a Master in business engineering, specializing in finance. After that, he worked for 6 years in various finance functions as a Finance manager, Financial analyst and Cost controller/Finance Business Partner, in both small and large companies. During this time, Jérôme gained a lot of experience in the processes of closing accounts and consolidation, establishing and monitoring budgets and forecasts in continuous collaboration with finance departments and business units.

In 2018, Jérôme joined WeQan as a business intelligence consultant. Over the next few years, he implemented data integration and analysis solutions in complex data integration environments, mainly using Qlik technologies, SSIS and SQL Server. In December 2023, WeQan became part of element61.

Alongside his growing expertise in this technology, Jérôme also had the opportunity to learn Python. He had the opportunity to work on two machine learning use cases for machine learning sensor anomaly detection and no-show forecasting. He has also developed a budgeting and forecasting solution using K4 technology.

Jérôme enjoys learning about new technologies. His current ambition is to obtain certifications in data engineering and solution architecture on the Azure stack.

In his spare time, Jérôme enjoys looking after his family, playing sports (ping-pong, fitness, paddle), cooking delicious meals, and exploring the exciting world of blockchain.
