In 2009, USG People decided to start building out a completely new Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure, based on a design that was previously made by element61.

The USG People Belgium data warehouse is based on a multitude of data sources (back- and front-office). The decision support system is used by virtually all management levels in the organization, its affiliates and offices.
Reynders Labels was looking for a BI solution to replace their inadequate Excel reporting solution. element61 built a Microsoft SQL Server based BI solution for them, in a Software-as-a-Service ("Cloud") architecture. The scope of the project was to provide a reporting and analysis environment focusing on the production data of their printing presses.
The Corporate USG People Data Warehouse is based on multitude data sources (back- and front-office). The decision support system is used by virtually all management levels in the organization in order to get a complementary overview of the performance of the USG Group. USG country management can retrieve financial and operational details on their country performance. At VP-level, consolidated financial and operational data is available. A crucial part of the project was also working out an implementation blueprint that considerable facilitates and speeds up the integration of additional local USG People offices in the application.
Delhaize ICT asked element61 to assume responsibility for the roles of Project Manager and BI Architect for a number of key Business Intelligence projects that were aimed at considerably improving the management information for the business.
The element61 SAP BW Competence Center has been leading an SAP BW 7.0 implementation at Tecteo between 2009 and 2013. The main focus areas of the project are marketing related reporting on top of SAP CRM and financial reporting on top of SAP IS-U.
element61 provided some senior BI resources to assist the Telenet BICC (BI Competence Center) in their activities. The role(s) of element61 consisted in Business Analysis and BI project & team management.
In parallel to an ERP migration program from Baan to SAP, Soudal decided to implement a new data warehouse. After a BI roadmap exercise by element61, MS SQL Server 2008 was selected as technology platform for the new data warehouse.
Echo relied on element61 to play a key role in the definition and execution of their Performance Management strategy. element61's activities started with jointly defining a Performance Management roadmap, that formed the basis for the implementation of both a BI and CPM solution. In the implementation process, element61 was responsible for the analysis of the requirements, the solution design, and the implementation using a best-of-breed technology mix of MS SQL Server 2008, IBM Cognos BI 8 and IBM Cognos Planning 8. This project was executed in very close collaboration with the Echo team and has received substantial industry recognition with the BI Vision Award and the Best Finance Team Award.
