Sander Cornette graduated as a Master of Science in Business Engineering, major Data Science and Business Analytics from the KU Leuven in June 2019. While studying he discovered his passion for data analytics which resulted in choosing to build a churn prediction model using a novel inductive representational learner to incorporate network effects as his master thesis subject.
During his master years, he studied in Strasbourg for 4 months where he developed a sense for cultural differences by working closely with students from all over the world.
After obtaining his degree, Sander joined the Belgian military for 1 year where he followed basic training. This was an incredible adventure but his passion for business and data analytics made him return to the Business Intelligence world.
Sander started at element61 in February 2021 as Business Analytics Architect in the Qlik Competence Center. After some months of combined studying and building-up more hands-on experience on projects, Sander was able to certify as Qlik Sense Business Analyst in Q2 2021 and as Qlik Sense Data Architect in Q1 2022.
