People Experience Officer
Sophie obtained a Bachelor in Applied Psychology, specialising in Work & Organisational Psychology, at VIVES University of Applied Sciences. During her studies, she completed an Erasmus semester in Denmark, with a minor in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
She gained practical experience in HR, recruitment, and communications at companies including Primark, Randstad, AGO, Silver Tie and Konnekt, where she was involved in payroll, recruitment events, candidate management, and employer branding. She also took courses in Communication Sciences at Ghent University, further developing her interest in strategic communication and organizations. She enjoys experimenting with AI applications and actively exploring how new technologies can be used in a professional context.
Sophie likes combining a people-oriented approach with an analytical mindset, and is very much looking forward to bringing that combination to element61.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, following the NHL, travelling, and organizing activities with friends. She also likes working on personal AI projects.
Sophie will join element61 in July 2026.
