Armin graduated as a Master in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the KU Leuven in 2018.
During his studies, he gained profound knowledge of the fundamentals as well as the latest trends in AI & Data Science. Armin is eager to apply and further develop his knowledge of AI in real world applications.
During his studies, he took a first step in his career in web development. As a web developer, he was responsible for the complete development and maintenance of web applications that grew dynamically for two years.
For his master's thesis, Armin cooperated with CERN to develop an anomaly detection application for the Large Hadron Collider. His work delivered insights into automated detection of process failures. Other projects he worked on recently include a computer vision application for automated detection of teeth in dental radiographs, genetic algorithms to solve the traveling salesman problem, deep learning for human-level performance in video games, and a recommender system for movies.
