Consolidation and Management Reporting

Azelis Group was looking for a consolidation solution that could also support the users in the management reporting and in a later stage, the budgeting cycle. In June 2010, the company bought SAP BPC for the Microsoft platform and the implementation services started in August. The first deliverable was the consolidation application with a collaborative intercompany reconciliation. After this first phase, the management reporting was added on top. One of the main requirements was the implementation of a dual Income Statement approach: by function and by nature. In addition to that, the Azelis finance team wanted to analyse the data by department and segment, as such creating more added value in the consolidated figures. In March 2012, the Group decided to start the budgeting process on SAP BPC.
