After a short detour through network management and .NET Development, Davy dove into the wonderful world of SQL Server and Business Intelligence.
Davy started his BI career by focusing on ETL using Integration Services, and T-SQL. Later he also branched into database design, Analysis Services, Report Services and Power BI. Davy has also worked on automating SSIS development through BIML, migrating BI solutions to Azure and assisting customers in the role of BI Operations manager.
In the summer of 2018, Davy joined element61.
In recent years, Davy has embraced the Microsoft Azure BI and data platform, extending his skillset with technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Mapping Data Flows and Power Apps.
Over the years Davy has collected several Microsoft Certificates, including but not limited to Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Solutions Expert: Data Management and Analytics Charter Member, Solutions Expert: Business Intelligence & MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014.
